Position : Clinical Research Director

Job Description : Essential Job Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing a site marketing plan targeting Sponsors
Maintaining relationships with Clinical Research Partners and developing business leads for new studies
Ensuring regulatory compliance with guidelines, rules and laws that govern clinical research
Developing a Quality Assurance plan and ensuring adherence to CNS Standard Operation Procedures
Acting as primary point of contact for new trial leads and performing feasibility assessment and negotiation budgets and contract and acting as signatory for all research agreements
Planning and supervising the recruitment plan(s) of enrolling clinical trials
Overseeing clinical research program business operations including Finance, Budget, and Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
Managing multi-phase clinical studies (Phase II-IV) ensuring that all study deliverables are met on schedule
Coordinating and conducting Investigator and Clinical Research Staff Trainings and Meetings
Performing and providing leadership to clinical research staff who conduct study procedures and activities as per protocol, including:
obtaining informed consent o ensuring subject eligibility o creating source documents o obtaining medical records and reviewing medical histories o performing other medical tests/assessments specified by the protocol o entering data electronically or into paper CRF o collecting and processing laboratory specimens o monitoring medical conditions of study subjects o assessing adverse events o managing drug accountability o providing study documentation
Coordinating efforts between principal and sub-investigators, clinical research staff and medical practice and ancillary services within CNS and the community
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a health-related field. Training in the Neurosciences is a plus. Experience: Extensive experience (5 to 10 years) in a relevant specialty clinical research area, with at least 2 to 5 years in health care setting. Other Requirements: Current ACRP or SoCRA certification or eligible for certification. If a licensed health care professional, licensure in Arizona will be required.
