Position : Collision Field Technical Specialist (** 2nd Shift **)
Job Description : Responsibilities:
Field based body repair technical specialist that solves field escalations at Tesla Approved Body Shops and Tesla Body Shops
Root cause body repair field issues and report findings to engineering teams
Answer Toolbox cases, emails, and phone calls to address body shop concerns with highest level of response and attention
Provide training and quality assurance activities to continually improve customer satisfaction
Generate weekly reports of activities and findings
Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
~50% travel based on business needs
Comply with all Tesla safety rules, guidelines, and standards
Requirements:
Certificate from Vocational School in collision preferred
Body Master Technician – 10 years industry experience preferred, Tesla experience preferred
Expert working knowledge – frame equipment, welding, riveting, metal work, diagnostic systems, estimating platforms
High proficiency in written and spoken English
Strong computer skills – Microsoft office and cloud applications
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
Ability to work independently in limited supervision environment
Ability to travel nationally and internally to support program needs
Capable of lifting 50 lbs and driving fork lift
Must be at least 18 years of age
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation ($72,000 – $90,000) is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, etc. Along with competitive pay, this position is eligible for benefits including:
