Job Description : Maxx Properties is hiring a Community Manager to join our team at Wentworth Apartments in Aurora.

Established in 1936, we have served our communities for over 85 years while providing an unparalleled level of service to our residents. The MAXX Properties portfolio includes 35+ communities consisting of over 9,000 owned multifamily units in six states across the country and 2,000+ cooperative units in New York.
Property Description: Our apartments for rent near Lowry in Aurora, CO create the right balance between inner city living and scenic suburbia. We’re just 30 minutes outside of downtown Denver. Closer to home, there are local parks, vibrant golf courses, and a range of upscale shops and stores. Wentworth offers private patios and balconies, brand new kitchens with Birchwood cabinetry, ample storage space, a fully equipped fitness center and a newly renovated clubhouse.
Job Summary: Our Community Managers are responsible for all operational and financial aspects of the property. They facilitate optimum performance of the property in areas such as personnel management, leasing, collections, resident services, maintenance, revenue enhancement, capital improvements and information reporting. Our goal remains simple; provide our residents with the utmost service and continue to give our dedicated employees the opportunity for personal and professional growth.
A day in the life…
Financial
Anticipates and proactively reports market changes to the Regional Manager
Monitor and regularly report variances
Makes recommendations for ways to maximize income and minimize expenses
Reviews renewals and prepares budget increase recommendations according to the operating budget and market conditions
Supervisory/Leadership
Hiring, training, evaluating and disciplinary counseling of employees
Provides staff with direction, guidance and tools for optimum performance
Conducts staff meetings on a regular basis
Leasing and Marketing
Supports the overall marketing effort and ensures the effectiveness of promotions and advertisements
Monitor the closing ratio of leasing associates to ensure standards are met and provides additional training if necessary
Understand and complies with state landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing laws and standards
Ensures resident retention and renewal programs are implemented
Skills and Requirements:
An energetic professional with 3+ years of managing multi-family communities
Willingness to work in a fast paced and team oriented environment
Valid driver’s license is required
Yardi experience is highly preferred, but not required
Demonstrates the ability to lead, manage and motivate staff
Experience with developing and monitoring budgets as well as creating monthly tracking reports
Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
