Job Description : $68,192.00 – $83,873.00

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Communication, Journalism or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of related work experience. Prefer 1 year of supervisory experience for those who have supervisory responsibilities.
Any equivalent combination of certifications, education, or experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities for the position.

Position Summary
Denver Water is seeking an individual to join our inclusive workgroup focused on community and government relations.
Under general supervision, this person will assist with the planning, development, and implementation of community and public relations programs, with an emphasis in public involvement and outreach. They may act as Denver Water’s liaison for stakeholders and customers impacted by construction projects and other community initiatives. Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position may have formal supervisory responsibilities over other employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in developing and providing support for public information programs for capital construction projects, involving neighborhood groups, community and civic organizations, elected officials, chambers of commerce and other stakeholder groups.
Support efforts to inform customers about ongoing efforts to replace, repair and maintain water pipes throughout Denver Water’s service area.
Proactively identify impacted stakeholders, compile contact lists, identify possible challenges and mitigation strategies, and determine the level of outreach needed.
Provide database management and agency initiatives administration for stakeholders and community relations staff.
Coordinate across internal work groups to address customer concerns and complaints, and provide a high level of customer service.
Perform related work as required.
