Job Description : Vaco is partnering with a $200M Private Equity backed manufacturing company in the Denver area that is looking to hire a strong Controller to join their growing team. Our client is a mid-sized private equity backed manufacturer pursuing some aggressive growth plans including steady M&A transaction activity. The position will be working directly with Senior Leadership to oversee both technical and operational accounting functions, and leading the accounting department. The ideal candidate will be motivated by a fast-paced work environment and eager to build out sound accounting processes and procedures throughout the organization. Teamwork is highly valued, and a self-starter who enjoys helping out wherever possible fits in best. Overall, it’s an exciting opportunity that holds some serious career development experience.

Qualifications:

10+ years of overall experience; including 5+ years in managerial roles
Public Accounting experience and CPA required; Big 4 public accounting strongly preferred
Previous manufacturing and / or channel distribution experience in small to mid-size companies is beneficial, but not required.
Inventory experience strongly preferred
