Position : Cookie Baker
Job Description : Cookie Advantage is a customer follow up company. We send out tins of our gourmet cookies for businesses to say thank you to their customers. Our product must be professional and of the highest quality because we are representing our customers.
Responsibilities:
The baker is responsible for baking the cookies and packaging them with each customer’s cards. The highest quality is expected. The tins of cookies and cards are then boxed and shipped the same day to our customer’s clients.
Keep the bakery clean, organized and follow all health department regulations
Insure a consistent quality of cookies while minimizing waste.
Insure that each order has the correct tin, cards and shipping label.
Print, laminate and organize customer cards.
Make sure cookies get to the post office the same day they are baked.
Be able to lift 25-50 pounds and stand for 4-6 hours
This is a production environment. There is no interaction with the general public
Skills needed:
Baking experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
Organization skills
Attention to details
Good time management
Personable
Education and Experience:
Minimum of an Associates Degree
Minimum 1-year experience in the food industry
Management experience
Pay starts at $15 per hour
Sick pay after 1 year of service
20-30 hrs per week
Monday – Thursday approximate hours are 8:30-2:30pm (based on order for the day)
Interviews will take place the week of March 28th
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
