POSITION PURPOSE
This individual achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, advising managers and insuring we are hiring the best possible talent. Responsibilities will specifically be focused on creating and updating interview templates, posting current job descriptions, contacting potential candidates and maintaining the reports for all temporary staffing hours. This individual is highly proficient with and regularly uses Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word and Outlook to complete daily tasks. The individual demonstrates excellent judgment and critical thinking skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and contributes to a positive team atmosphere. The Recruiter is also responsible for ensuring all legal guidelines are being followed in regards to proper interview questions and maintaining documentation such as resumes and applications. This position also manages the summer intern program by working with managers to determine department needs, scheduling the intern hours and assigning interns to each department.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DUTIES
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum of high school diploma and 2-4 years of experience in recruiting.
2. PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP a plus.
3. Required to have an extensive working knowledge of PC functions and Microsoft Office programs including: Word, Excel, Outlook
4. Extensive knowledge of how to post to job boards, applicant websites and recruiting resources such as: Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Design and implement overall recruiting strategy.
2. Determine applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications.
3. Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate websites, job boards, colleges, etc.
4. Source and recruit candidates by proactively networking, researching and maintaining relationships with outside recruiting professionals.
5. Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes to ensure the best possible candidates are moved forward in the candidate selection process.
6. Act as the point of contact for candidates during the selection process.
7. Promote the company’s values and reputation as a “Best Place to Work.”
8. Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules, booking travel, escorting applicants to interviews and providing office tours.
9. Develop job descriptions and interview templates on a regular basis to ensure consistency and accuracy for managers and applicants.
10. Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and best practices during the candidate selection process.
11. Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports, temp labor reports and intern assignment reports.
12. Create and maintain and effective on-boarding process.
13. Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines, travel when necessary.
14. Develop mutually beneficial, respectful, and effective relationships with peers to ensure seamless coordination between departments, maximize synergy, and maintain a shared vision, strategy, and focus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

4. Must be able to lift 10-20 pounds (for example: packages, copy paper boxes, etc.)

WORK ENVIRONMENT
1. Generally, works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting.
2. This position regularly requires large amounts of time to be spent using and viewing computer screens and equipment, which generally entails regular and repetitive motions.
3. May occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, or chemicals. All safety procedures should be adhered to in each of these situations.
Salary/ Wage Range
$70,000-90,000 annually
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
