Wage Range: $70,000 – $90,000

Job Summary
A Craft Recruiter will lead the craft and tradesperson recruiting efforts for MTech. They will be responsible for establishing relationship with local trade schools, high schools, and industry talent pool to find strong candidates. They will be responsible for full life cycle recruitment efforts including, but not limited to, managing requisitions, identifying qualified candidates, possible initial phone screening of candidates, coordination with manager for candidate next steps, offer extensions, and onboarding. They will identify market trends and suggest creative solutions to attract candidates. They will also assist the overall HR group as needed.
A successful candidate will be able to:
Create and implement full life cycle recruiting strategy and conduct recruiting efforts for all craft personnel throughout the company
Establish relationships with hiring managers to understand their craft personnel needs and create plans to fill those with high quality candidates
Screen candidates that apply and make interviewing recommendations where appropriate
Initially interact with candidates and represent MTech’s culture and values
Work within MTech’s ATS system and partner with hiring manager to ensure timely candidate follow up, set up interviews, arrange travel (as needed), schedule candidate feedback recaps, etc.
Maintain job posting platforms and work with hiring managers to determine promotion of job postings based on urgency of company need
Work with marketing team to update and enhance craft recruiting materials
Proactively source passive candidates through sites like Indeed and LinkedIn
Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners and monitor for recruiting opportunities
Coordinate recruiting presence/participation at targeted trade schools and high schools; create consistent schedule of contact with these partners and develop ways to advertise MTech craft positions to this candidate pipeline
Maintain relationships with industry partners and participate in program events (Master’s Apprentice, Front Range Community College, etc.)
Onboard all new hires including submitting offers, pre-employment screening, etc.
Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations in partnership with HR Generalist
Complete all new hire processes and related paperwork to be in compliance with federal, state, and company standards.
Facilitate sourcing for interns, helping align internship schedules and ensure a positive internship experience in partnership with HR Manager
Regular and predictable attendance is expected in order to meet the requirements of this position
Other duties as assigned
Qualified candidates will possess the following education and experience:
4 year Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent hands on experience in the trades
5+ years of recruiting experience or equivalent hands on experience in the trades
PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
Strong ability to effectively communicate with people at different levels within the organization
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Strong ability to solve problems and come up with effective solution
Must be approved to drive per MTech’s driving standards
Highly organized and strong time management skills required
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
