Position : Credit Risk Analyst

Job Description : Johns Manville is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Credit Risk Analyst. The purpose of this position is to establish & manage credit extended to our customers while maximizing sales but controlling bad debts within JM policies and procedures.This position is based out of Johns Manville headquarters in Denver, Colorado. This is also a flexible work arrangement with both in office and remote work weeks. It is not a fully remote position.Johns Manville, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, employs approximately 350 people at the downtown headquarters in areas such as finance, human resources, legal, corporate affairs, and information technology. The three business groups – Engineered Products, Insulation Systems and Roofing Systems – are headquartered in Denver. Johns Manville has manufacturing operations in North America, Europe and China.Applicants can expect to make between $55,000 to $67,000 upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for a target incentive bonus under our variable incentive plan.Your Day-to-Day:

Obtain, review and analyze necessary information to determine customer financial capability and risk, establish credit limits and control shipments within the framework of credit limits for assigned business/ customers/ region.
Set credit limits and risk assignment within ERP System.
Ensure the quality of Accounts Receivable and minimize bad debts.
Communicate credit information to businesses and collections personnel
Work with businesses to analyze/recommend sales terms for new and existing customers
Review adequacy of credit limits; Review customers approaching their credit limit-anticipate if credit limit should be increased to avoid unnecessary credit holds
Communicate/discuss credit issues and potential high risk accounts with collections personnel and credit manager

What You Bring to the Team:

4-year degree in business, accounting, or finance
2 years of comparable work experience, preferred (Credit, Banking and/or Bookkeeping)
Financial knowledge – ability to analyze financial statements and other financial information
Familiarity with Dunn & Bradstreet
Analytical Skills and strong Excel Skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Professional demeanor
Proven ability to build relationships internally and externally
Business to business credit experience

Additional consideration given to those with:

Ability to travel up to 0-5%
Experience in a manufacturing based organization
SAP or ERP knowledge
