Job Description : POSITION MISSION
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for interacting with guests in a way that provides helpful solutions in a positive manner that builds our relationship with our guests. This position is for an individual who is comfortable interacting with a high volume of guests via phone and email. The Customer Service Representative must be dedicated to providing the highest level of service to every guest every time.
ROLE-SPECIFIC ABILITIES
¤ Provide first level of engagement with guests who contact us through phone, online contact forms, and email in an informed, friendly, and timely manner.
¤ Maintain a comprehensive knowledge-base of company operations, policies, org. structures, and programs in order to utilize available resources in responses to guests.
¤ Maintain accurate and current databases for all Bagel Brands locations.
¤ Manage queues in our Customer Relationship Management software by following up on active cases, making sure that our guests do not fall through the cracks while new cases are addressed in an appropriate timeframe.
¤ Participate in knowledge and skill transfer sessions with other team members in order to lower case volume and increase speed of case resolution.
¤ Collaborate with Team Members in the field across the nation to better address feedback from our guests.
¤ Function as the initial contact for guests with issues involving damage to property, personal injury, or other potential risk liabilities.
¤ Process and activate gift cards; detect potential fraudulent gift card activity.
¤ Process credit card refunds as needed.
EDUCATION – TRAINING – EXPERIENCE
Required:
¤ Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
¤ Consistently friendly, professional, and helpful demeanor even in stressful situations – strong “people skills” are a must.
¤ Able to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
¤ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
¤ Strong research skills. Able to work independently in order to find answers to difficult questions.
¤ Working understanding of Microsoft Office Suite: particularly Word and Excel.
¤ Ability to retain a wide knowledgebase of company operations.
Preferred:
¤ One or more years of experience in the hospitality industry.
¤ Prior experience with Customer Relationship Management software; particularly, Microsoft Dynamics.
