Customer Service Representative II: $12.56/hour

The Customer Service Representative is the frontline contact between residents and Parks and Recreation. Successful applicants will represent the City of Missoula with the utmost professionalism and courtesy.
By phone or in person, promote and explain department facilities and services, answer customer questions, process transactions, and help resolve customer/resident concerns.
Interact positively as an effective team member while following policies and procedures.
Take payments and process registrations using accounting best practices for cash handling and point-of-sale software, including credit card payments, reconciling cash irregularities and daily cash-outs.
Daily maintenance of work area and facility as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Recreation Service Leader: $13.26/hour

Previous work experience training and/or overseeing staff and one (1) year of previous work experience making financial transactions.
Serve as shift leader ensuring quality front line customer service.
Collect admission fees for water park facilities, register passes/programs, and answer a multi-line phone.
Follow cash handling policies and procedures including credit card payments, reconciling cash irregularities, making change, and troubleshoot discrepancies and make daily deposits.
Cash handling in point-of-sale software, enter information into an online registration system.
Register customers for programs, facility reservations, and provide membership service tasks including selling season and annual passes, multi-pass cards, resident discount cards, and make reservations for birthday parties.
Help and maintain current inventory of equipment, roster, and supplies.
Ensure cashiers answer customer questions and information is consistent regarding programs, facility use, concessions and general city recreational opportunities.
Oversee, and assist with shift cleaning according to assigned checklists.
Responsible to perform other duties as assigned.
