*Position Description: *The Data Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders to understand our product and operational parameters and use a combination of reporting and business intelligence tools to distill and communicate data analytics across the organization to further our objectives of understanding product and operational dynamics. You will have an ability for manipulating and summarizing data, and an intuition for detecting and diagnosing anomalies. Working across teams to make sure the best data-driven business decisions get made.
Key Responsibilities:

Contributes to multiple data reporting, analytics and quality projects, collaborating with resources inside and outside the team.
Ensures project deliverables are within the project timeline.
Based on research and analysis of data, contribute to actionable, strategic solutions or process improvements to drive improvement of data quality and analytics outcomes.
Research recurring issues related to analytics & data integrity, such as lack of data flow, data mismatches between systems, multiple data sources or hierarchies, manual data processes, etc.
Reports on issues related to analytics and data quality in order to support conclusion and recommend solution, as well as drive prevention in future.
Collaborates internally to improve the overall ability of individuals to report on operational metrics across the team.
Queries, extracts, aggregates, summarizes and provides analysis across multiple environments and systems – products, data warehouses, 3rd party systems.

Skills and Experience:

BS or MS degree in Computer Science/Computer Information Systems or equivalent.
Experience with data management platforms, analytic and reporting tools (SQLServer, Postgres, Mongo, Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP, WSDL etc).
Experience deploying analytics and reports to dashboards and web platforms built with HTML, Java Script, jQuery.
Demonstrate expert level skill in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.
Demonstrate excellent business acumen, knows latest industry trends, routinely attends industry seminars and is looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape.
Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering team.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity.
Creative and passionate about cutting edge technologies and continuous personal and team improvement.

Compensation:

Annual base salary range between $90-110k.
Bonus potential of 10% annually.

KPA Office/Event Attendance and COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
Daily office attendance is currently optional for all employees. Each office will be open for those seeking the opportunity to return to the office. Team meetings and events will be held in both KPA Offices and outside of KPA Offices where employee attendance will be expected.
For all KPA office sites, events and meetings, any employee attending, even temporarily, must be fully vaccinated with at least fourteen (14) days following their final vaccine. The final vaccine is defined as a second dose for Pfizer or Moderna, or the first dose of Johnson and Johnson.
