DUTIES:
This position is responsible for all facets of the Digger Card Operation, including system administration and maintenance, personnel, marketing, fiscal and campus representation. This position requires the operation of an ID card center and card reader network, debit account, maintenance of technical support systems, marketing of the program to internal and external clients and development of new business opportunities. It includes systems development and operations, beta testing, collaboration with fellow universities, planning and execution of future expansion and upgrades, vendor relations, marketing and customer service, building access, regulation, policy and procedure and compliance, management reporting and debit account maintenance. This position has the knowledge and skill to solely maintain the Digger Card System.
Duties for both centers include but not limited to: budgeting, staffing, training and daily supervision.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor in Computer Science, Business or equivalent.
Strong computer skills and database knowledge.
Excellent communications skills and the ability to supervise and motivate employees.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Understanding of budgets and billing practices.
Understanding of College/University settings.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Be flexible in work hours, ability to stand for long periods of time.
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
