Job Description : Join a patient-centered Healthcare organization as a Director of Human Resources. The Director of Human Resources will report to the CEO and be responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of hospital human resource programs. This location in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan not only are there hundreds of lakes and an abundance of wildlife and historical sites, but several recreational activities are available throughout the year. The city offers the economic and social advantages of a rural lifestyle while providing an opportunity to contribute to improving the quality of life.

Responsibilities of the Director of Human Resources:

Provide employees/department with information, answering questions for hospital day to day concernsPrioritize projects and assignments to ensure completion by deadlinesMaintain all personnel and department filesResponsible for oversite of the hospital’s Tuition Assistance and Career Grant Programs
Qualifications of the Director of Human Resources:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a closely related field is required5-7 years of experience as a human resource generalistExperience in small and rural hospitals is preferredStrong knowledge of personnel law and employee benefits
