Job Description : Join our team!- Hiring bonus!-100% Employer paid MedicalMust have COVID Vaccine and all required boosters, must have current Flu VaccinePurpose of Position: Oversee the operations of the Nutritional Services Department in accordance with NSHC policies, procedures and applicable regulations; Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of the department to provide dietetic services to patients, employees and visitors; Establish policies and procedures to direct menu formation, food preparation, distribution and service; Direct assigned employees, demonstrating leadership by providing work direction, motivation, training, assistance, performance evaluation and corrective action.Essential Functions:· Perform leadership functions including hiring, scheduling, training, performance management and discipline; Instill passion in assigned staff for NSHC’s mission, vision, and values, paying particular attention to the maintenance of a safe and productive work environment· Demonstrate personal initiative and accountability while overseeing the department’s budget; Forecast needs, allocate resources and/or take corrective action as necessary· Establish and ensure compliance of policies and procedures within the department.· Design and lead departmental initiatives relative to patient care and coordinate overall management of diet and menu planning, updating diet orders/prescriptions, complete nutrition assesmsents, ensure nutritionally adequate meals are provided· Lead trainings for nutrition services task on serving nutritionally adequate meals.· Ensure compliance with organizational and accredidation standards· Develop programs and services to expand billable nutrition services and implement services in response to patient needs· Oversee the procurement of food, supplies, equipment; Monitor the preparation of food; Manage kitchen staff, oversee training and compliance· Perform other duties as assignedMinimum requirements:- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred in Nutrition, Public Health or related field-2 years experience working in Nutritional services, 1 year supervisory-Registered Dietician License required within 3 months of hire, Certified Food Protection Manager/ServSafe within 3 months of hire, CPRJob Type: Full-timePay: $101,275.00 – $128,269.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceDisability insuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Bozeman, MT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Dietitian & Nutritionist Managers: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
