Job Description : Job BriefBehind every restaurant that never runs out of cutlery and clean plates, there is a lively dishwasher to thank for it.We are looking for a hard working dishwasher to assist in ensuring that wares for the front and back of the house are clean, sanitized, organized and ready for use. This role is a very important part of a smooth functioning restaurant, as it allows both front of house, and back of house staff to provide prompt, and enjoyable service to guests.Job DutiesSort and wash dishes and potsProvides kitchen and service staff with an ongoing supply of clean dishesProper storing of all dishes in appropriate placesProper use of chemicalsClear trays and service areasKeep area clean at all timesAssist in other areas such as runner/ busser if neededEnsure adherence to all of Ignite Group of Brands Policies and ProceduresEnsure adherence to Ignite Group of Brands Health and Safety PolicyQualificationsThere are no specific educational requirements for this position.Experience as a dishwasher in food service operations is an asset.On-the-job training and WHMIS a requirement.Lifting requirements of up to 50lbsMust be able to follow direction and work with minimal supervisionIgnite Group of Brands is an equal opportunity employer.
