Job Description : DISHWASHERS | DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTThe ultimate responsibility of our dishwashers is to clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and more so that all items are ready for the next service. Our dishwashers will assist in maintaining the cleanliness of their washing station and making sure all dishes and utensils are sorted, cleaned, and stored appropriately. To succeed in this role, a dishwasher will need to have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with other staff. Previous work experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Adhere to company standards and service levels (all policies, procedures, guidelines and expectations)
Help build and preserve a culture that embraces Skyport’s hospitality intentions
Communicate respectfully and professionally with other staff members and management
Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station
Wash specific items by hand (cutting boards, large pots, delicate chinaware)
Store clean dishware, glasses and other cooking equipment and utensils appropriately
Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils
Maintain cleaning supplies and request new orders from management when necessary
Remove garbage regularly
Sanitize the kitchen areas, including the floor, using company sanitation policies
Perform side work at the beginning and end of each shift
Other duties as assigned from time to time

WORKING CONDITIONS | PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

May frequently need to work holidays, weekends and nights. Hours will vary depending on the business and staffing needs
Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time
Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing up to 25 lbs., as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion
Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment
