Job Description : Learn more about Mountain Sky Guest Ranch at www.mountainsky.com.Our full-season positions run from May 1 through October 31. We have ranch opening work starting in early-April.Our summer positions run from June 5th (the start of staff orientation) through August 28th (the final day of the summer season). These are the shortest dates that will be considered for employment.Due to the nature of working on a ranch, extended time off is not available.If you have interest in a particular area but don’t see a position listed – perhaps you are interested in our dining program, or love working with kids – let us know, as we may have a position come available after you have applied. Previous horse experience is required to apply for the Wrangler position; you will be asked to provide a riding video.Minimum age is 18 years old as of hire date. Must be 21 years old to drive.Guest ServicesGUEST RELATIONSThe ultimate variety job! The largest workforce on the ranch, this 30 person crew rotates through various shifts daily: serving, driving, housekeeping, working in the kids program, and dishwashing (3 shifts per week or fewer). Depending upon interest and skill set, an additional shift or two per week might be spent leading hikes, working in the gift shop, helping with landscaping, clay shooting, archery, ropes course, and more.3 – 6 month positions available. June 5 to August 28 at minimum, with a start date as early as May 1 and an end date as late as October 31.In the Heart of Paradise ValleyDue to Mountain Sky Guest Ranch’s unique location, our guests often choose to extend their stay in Montana before or after visiting the ranch to further explore this magnificent region. For those seeking the culture of museums and fine dining, the towns of Livingston and Bozeman, with their rich western history, set the perfect stage. Livingston’s restaurants offer some of the finest western cuisine, and the Depot Museum, as well as the quaint shops on Main Street, bring the old west to life.The town of Bozeman is set in one of the state’s most stunning regions and boasts the beautiful campus of Montana State University. The days pass easily hiking in the Rocky Mountains, discovering the world-renowned work of paleontologist Jack Horner at the Museum of the Rockies, or shopping along the streets of historic downtown Bozeman. You may enjoy a tour of the Lewis and Clark Caverns near Three Forks.
