Pay Range: $50,000 – $65,000 annually

What will I be doing?
The Electrical Designer Level I reports directly to the Engineering Manager. This role’s primary function will be designing electrical documents for projects ranging from light commercial to heavy industrial. Position to serve as Level 1 Electrical Designer and ensure all company documents conform to the National Electric Code and customer specific standards.
Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
· Develop construction drawings based on provided scope of work
· Take conceptual rough plan mark-ups and create final design documents
· Complete power, lighting, HVAC, and grounding plans
· Services during construction (RFI’s, Submittal Reviews, etc.)
· Collaborate with engineers on design efforts from start to finish to ensure compliance with scope budget and schedule
· Perform design reviews with the customer to ensure the plans meet the project requirements
· assist in performing field surveys, documenting existing conditions, and/or recommending various design solutions
What skills are we looking for?
· Proficient in basic computer systems such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc.
· Great organizational skills
· Self-motivated; can finish projects without direct supervision
· Willing to work frequent last-minute, overtime, rushed projects
· AutoCad experience is preferred
Required Education?
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
