The Employee Engagement Manager position for Verizon Connect will be responsible for building and driving a strategy to employ and report on VoE (voice-of-employee) listening that identifies key deficiencies in the employee experience, then owns resulting program and communication strategies that further enable our industry-leading culture and talent. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing our employee pulse response and action plans, onboarding experiences, communicating news, announcements and leadership messages, and overall help in driving a customer-centric culture across our global workforce.
This position will require exceptional creativity and involve frequent interaction with executive levels to pitch new ideas and programs. You will be holding management employees accountable for results and action, while offering guidance, support and solutions. You will assist in communicating our customer-centric strategy across mediums in ways that inspire and motivate employees across roles and departments. You will oversee employee All Hands and other internal events and meetings, requiring independent decision making and organization.
You will partner with various HR, Internal Communication and Executive Assistant functions, and focus on Verizon Connect. This role reports into Verizon Connect’s Global Product Success Team, who supports our business through transformational tools and information that enables employees to sell, support and manage our portfolio of mobile workforce solutions.

Design and implement a full employee communication and engagement strategy that cultivates a positive, open and innovative culture.
Deliver insight by utilizing data from pulse surveys, employee focus groups and other experience data to provide meaningful insights and trends to leadership.
Establish action planning methodologies and programs that address gaps in the employee experience; partner with leaders at all levels of the organization to track, deliver, and report on results.
Create a communications plan that keeps employees engaged, recognized, and in-the-know, uniting various teams, departments and geographies across a single message and strategy.
Be apromoter and advocate for our technology and products, looking for opportunities to partner with Product Marketing Managers to engage Sales and Customer Service/Success in in-person and virtual events.
Coordinate and manage employee-focused meetings and events; including All Hands, webcasts, meetups, etc., including agenda & presentation creation, and act as the primary point of contact working with Executive Leadership.
Establish standardized event procedures, track event KPIs and identify areas of opportunity for future events.
Drive and promote culture initiatives, volunteerism, engagement, and recognition including ideation, leadership alignment, communications, and execution.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set bythe manager.

What we’re looking for…

You have expertise in internal or external communications and marketing, product marketing, enablement and training or employee operations. You have a proven track record of flawless execution, operational excellence, high sense of urgency and ambitious work ethic to drive business outcomes. Ability to identify needs, design solutions and deliver with credibility and impact is critical. You’re a self-starter and ambitious. You’re able to operate on a strategic level and dig deep into the details and logistics.
You’ll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Four or more years of experience in one or more of the following:internal or external communications,marketing, product marketing, enablement and training, employee operations, or other related fields.
Experience in planning and facilitating high-stakes meetings or events.
Strong experience in PowerPoint and Google Slides.
Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

Experience in public speaking and addressing executive leadership.
Strong executive-level communication, presentation, and writing skills with a knowledge and appreciation of other departmental functions.
Ability to prioritize tasks independently, according to business priority – pivot fast in a changing environment.
Previous experience in a B2B SaaS environment.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.
If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $108,000 and $200,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
