Position : Engineering Technician
Job Description : Volt Workforce Solutions has an immediate opening for Engineering Technician for our client located on the far north end of Colorado Springs.
Pay: $23.00-$29.00 per hour
Shift: Day shift
***This is a temp to hire opportunity****
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor and operate equipment in accordance with operational procedures
Program tools to run abnormal processes for engineering tests
Work closely with production to improve manufacturing and engineering processes
Respond to tool alarms with an understanding of the root cause to ensure successful processing
Disposition non-conforming production
Manage multiple engineering tests through the entire process at any given time
Document routine practices and update operating procedures as improvements are made
Assist Process and R&D Engineers in engineering evaluation and/or problem solving
SKILLS:
Ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, provide solution and react quickly to solve root cause
Ability to work and manage time independently
Ability to maintain a safe working environment
Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing for product documentation
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to learn advanced processes quickly and provide consistent quality processing
Experience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred
