The Boeing Company is hiring for an Equipment Maintenance Specialist (Level C) to support Boeing Commercial Airplane Fabrication in Helena, Montana.
This employee will perform maintenance on factory equipment. Troubleshoot, analyze, inspect, disassemble, rebuild, modify and test factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. They will use and interpret advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment. The employee will respond to requests for equipment repair, maintain and manage component and replacement part inventories. They will work under limited supervision. Demonstrates a commitment to the mission and motivation to combine the team’s energy and expertise to achieve a common objective. Understands the dynamics of effective teamwork in order to attain higher levels of performance. Demonstrates ability to work as a member of a team.
Position Responsibilities:
Job tasks may include but not be limited to: Equipment support to keep production operational and identify issues prior to failure.
Complete scheduled preventative maintenance work, improve equipment readiness and reliability and predictive maintenance.
Complete health checks, ultra sound testing, thermography, vibration analysis, oil analysis, coolant testing and motor current analysis.
Additional responsibilities include ball bar, probe set up and testing, parts availability and identification, PEPR and condition coding updates.
The employee will help oversee scheduling, outside services and OAR activities as required.
Support of autonomous maintenance workshops, machine/equipment replacement support plans, laser calibration support and spindle grind support. Daily maintenance request review, One BPS problem solving, as well as status and report out on current on ongoing issues.
Alignment with all safety policies including LOTTO, fall protection, confined space entry, Enablon reporting are required.
Daily data management-Maximo and ESMAX.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
4+ years’ of experience working directly in a production environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
4+ years’ experience in a team environment.
4+ years’ experience with large 4 and 5 axis CNC equipment and controllers, or equivalent experience preferred.
Knowledge of multiple energy sources in plant operations, MESS, LOTTO.
Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, concepts, development and implementation.
Ability to understand inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.
Ability to use various hand, power driven, specialty tools and powered industrial trucks, cranes.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with demonstrated experience.
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years’ related work, Bachelor, etc.).
