Job Description : Fantasy Farm Banquet Hall in Toronto is looking for a front of house event manager. As the event manager you will be responsible for running all events at Fantasy Farm, including acting as a liaison to the client during the event, communicating between the client, floor staff and kitchen during events. Most of our events are weddings and family hallmark occasions. You will be assisting guests with the timing of their wedding ceremonies and ensuring that they have the best night of their lives!!!As the event manager you must be available to work nights and weekends. Generally we host events on the weekends (although we do have occasional weekday events as well.) This means we are looking for someone who can commit to working weekend nights with us. The remaining hours for this full time position will be made up working in our office in customer relations. Speaking with perspective clients on the phone, directing them to the appropriate sales people, as well as interviewing and hiring front of the house staff.All applicants must have an up to date COVID vaccination status. All applicants must have a background in restaurant management and or events with a minimum of 2 years experience.
