SALARY: 50-75k (base + commission up to 25%)
WORK LOCATION: Breckenridge Brewery

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating catered events. The EC assists in the selection of menu items, scheduling staff, arranging facilities or equipment, and communications of the customer/client needs to the appropriate personnel. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for generating revenues for event catering sales.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Effectively communicate with all guests and staff in a friendly and timely matter.
Serve as a main POC for receiving and processing food orders as needed, in a timely manner.
Build and communicate Banquet Event Orders (BEO) to the kitchen.
The EC must have a strong attention to detail and ensure the information accurately reflects what has been requested by client.
Coordinate with Executive Chef & Banquet Chef for revision and updates of the catering menu & special requests as needed.
Effectively communicate with all guests and staff in a friendly and timely matter.
Conducts meetings and site walkthroughs with clients.
Act as liaison between brewery and client through the event process (pre-event, event & post-event).
Adhere to all standards, policies and procedures already set in place.
Work to develop new or existing policies and procedures as determined by need in order to enhance the productivity of the events teams.
Continues to develop catering client database and establish new relationships to gain potential future business.
Collaborates with Brewery, GM and others on sales opportunities.
Manage event Database such as, Tripleseat and Monday.com.
Plans, coordinates with other internal staff and executes beer dinners. Minimum of 1 per quarter.
Work with external partners to activate the beer garden with various events including but not limited to, fitness classes, beer releases and any potential future activations.
Propose creative approaches, new ideas, and opportunities for events at the Farm House.
Responsible for timely and accurate communication with managers regarding upcoming events & needs.
Assist with month end & quarterly sales reports.
The position will be sales target focused, with annual revenue goals and idea generation to increase event revenue.
Perform other duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5 years of event planning experience (restaurant experience preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or public relations is preferred but not required.
Proven track record of successful events.
Customer service experience
Well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities.
Familiarity with scheduling systems
Strong vendor management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
