Job Description
As the Event Coordinator at Canada Goose, you will support the execution and planning of internal communications initiatives and campaigns that support the department’s core objectives – creating an engaged and informed workforce.
You will support with internal virtual content, global events across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and APAC (Asia-Pacific), and day-to-day administration.

The Role:
Support and execute internal events and activations (virtual and in-person)
Assist with the execution of remote and/or in-person filming, on-site logistics, and asset collection for virtual employee events such as conferences, town halls, and internal campaign launches
Build detailed workback schedules and event critical paths, and monitor progress to ensure projects are tracking against deliverable timelines
Upload content, analyze performance and employee engagement, and work cross-functionally with department leads on Canada Goose’s Intranet
Assist with department channel plans, event recaps, budget, invoice management, and PO requests
Provide ideas and feedback on internal video content – from brainstorming, concept, to execution, and editing
Take part in weekly meetings to provide an update on internal events related to campaign and corporate initiatives
Assist with project management on a day-to-day basis including coordination of meetings, project-tracking, and communicating with cross-functional teams
Liaise and negotiate with external vendors and suppliers
Other duties as required
About You:
Post-secondary degree or certificate in marketing, communications, event planning, or Public Relations is a bonus!
2+ years of relevant experience either at a communications agency or in-house
Experience with virtual and in-person events
Knowledge of online platforms including but not limited to Zoom, Microsoft Stream, SharePoint, Brand Live, etc.
Creative and exceptional attention to detail
