This position manages the departmental accounting function including the development of business plans, implementation of new programs and initiatives, and analysis of the economics of proposed strategies and policy changes.Primary Duties and Responsibilities – Finance ManagerPreparation and review of all financial statements and working papersPreparation of month end, fiscal year end, general ledger and bank reconciliationResponsible for filing all government remittancesAll accounts receivable functions including credit and bill back processingEnsure accurate and timely reportingCollections including analysis of resultsEnter new rebate plans into the ERP systemReview and assess the accuracy of amounts owing and prepare documentation to support sign-off of customer payments and deductionsContact customers to resolve issues related to inappropriate deductions and obtain repayment of over-deductions and unpaid accounts; reconcile General Ledger accounts and ensure that liabilities are represented on the balance sheet (and voice concerns or issues to associated departments as required)Prepare Costing AnalysesPrepare ad hoc internal reporting to Finance and Sales on specific rebate plan activityBe able to identify potential A/R concerns in a timely mannerEnsure the highest standards of confidentiality and integrityAdheres to all government regulations, policies and procedures and other related guidelinesEfficient work practices through the use of planning, organizing and the controlling of resourcesAll other accounting functions and any other duties as assignedBase Compensation 70K – 100K (dependent upon experience)How to apply: All interested should forward a resume and covering letter via Indeed; or in person (Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 4:00pm): 46 Community Avenue, Stoney Creek, ON L8E 2Y3TMF Foods – Lou’s Kitchen Ltd. is committed to Employment Equity and maintaining a diverse workforce.
