Houston, TX, Ludlow, VT and Timmins, Ontario CA; with yielding high quality talc. Come work for us!Location: Three Forks, MontanaPosition Pays: $24.08 (probationary period – up to 60-days); Increases to $34.12; Position starts at Flex 1, but opportunities to learn new skills in different roles in the plant which gives the right candidate the opportunity to advance to Flex 4 Operator which currently pays at over $36.00 per hour.Schedule: Rotating Schedule: Days, Evening, OvernightFlex Operator 1Summary: Works under limited supervision and according to established federal & state regulations and Company prescribed work procedures and safety policies; Operates plant/packaging equipment and forklift; Performs other duties related to loading and shipping to accomplish a safe and efficient operation; Maintains good housekeeping practices.KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: To Start: Operates the semi-bulk packaging equipment, including operating a forklift to disposition finished goods, and other duties as assigned.Gain experience in various areas of the Mill such as: o Pellet Mill – works with the Plant Control Operator to ensure quality compliance and efficient operation of all production mills, e.g. Roller Mills, Air Classifier Mills, Classifier, Pellet Mills, including quality control checkso Crude (Loader Operator) – works closely with the Plant Control Operator in delivering the proper crudes to the three (3) roller milling systems.o Primary (Forklift)- responsible for inspecting and loading rail boxcars, containers and trucks with forklift, and loading them in a fashion that will ensure the best possible arrival conditionso Maintenance – responsible for repair and reporting defects in assigned areas; repair and rebuild equipment as needed; fabricate, cut and weld as needed.o Packaging – responsible for the operation of all of the equipment associated with one packaging system and other duties as assignedo Performs any other duties as assigned.o Will work rotating shifts (days, swings, graves).JOB SPECIFICATIONSEducation and Experience requirements: · High School degree or equivalent· 1+ years experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.· Experience in operating forklift and/or milling equipment preferred.COVID-19 Precaution(s):Personal protective equipment provided or requiredSocial distancing guidelines in placeVirtual meetingsSanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in placeJob Type: Full-timePay: $24.08 – $34.12 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insuranceReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
