The Front Desk Manager will inspire and demonstrate the inclusive and stylized culture that allows the team to consistently exceed member and guest experiences through an outstanding lodging and hospitality operation. The Manager needs to be communicative, organized, and personable. They are a true professional who can impart detailed knowledge of our resort amenities with staff and guests alike. They are meticulous when it comes to guest experience and hospitality, room presentation, and attention to detail. They are obsessive about cleanliness. Employment Benefits:
Up to 12 months use of fully equipped AirStream located on the property

What You Do:
Performs Front Desk Agent duties to include but not limited to: posting charges, checking guests in and out, promoting facility activities and special events, answering guest questions, providing information regarding resort and surrounding area, handling monetary transactions, and completing required paperwork
Promptly answers the phone and direct calls to the appropriate location
Ensures reports are being run on a timely basis
Maintains communications with Housekeeping concerning status of checkouts and arrivals
Communicates any changes of information to the Front Desk Agents
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the Front Desk, Switchboard and Reservations area
Assists in training of Front Desk Agents
Assist guests with any problems or concerns, offering suggestions and possible alternatives
Communicates any guest problems or issues to the Front Office Manager or Director or Rooms
Regular and reliable attendance
Performs other duties as required
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)
Knowledge of lodging system application
Demonstrates Leadership ability including skills to communicate and express ideas and directives clearly to associates
Strong problem analysis and problem resolution skills
Strong multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills to ensure a quick response to member and guest needs
High level of active listening skills and strong member/guest service skills which includes the ability to resolve issues/complaints with tact and diplomacy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership and people management skills
Professional and courteous demeanor
Ability to create high performance teams and to be an effective team player
Demonstrate a consistent commitment to company values
Perform with a focus on individual and team advancement
Computer proficiency in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Prior POS (Point of Sale) and property management software experience
Ability to maintain effective financial accountability to the company and to the ownership
Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon associates, members, guests and vendors
