Position : General Manager

Job Description : The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the facility is managed in a manner that contributes to the achievement of objectives established through annual operating and Revenue plans. The General Manager provides strong and effective day-to-day leadership and management fostering an environment that encourages full team contribution by all employees to overall company objectives. The GM will work closely with Senior Management to ensure strategic business objectives are achieved.

Qualifications:
As the General Manager, you will focus on P&L and daily operations of your individual tunnel, reporting to the Regional Manager. Our General Managers are highly focused on the company’s excellence standards, values, and customer experience. General Managers develop and coach our team members to be the best they can be and understand this is an integral part of a tunnel’s success.

Maintain an effective management and support structure that reflects iFLY’s requirements.
Lead your team by example to meet the iFLY’s expectations for sales, productivity, customer service, and goal accomplishment.
Recruit, select, hire and train Department Managers and staff.
Ensure all staff adhere to iFLY policies, procedures, best practices, reporting systems and job expectations.
Manage and develop staff within the facility (inclusive of ongoing learning and development initiatives and related follow up/follow through).
Communicate organization information through regular department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email, IM, and regular interpersonal communication.
Actively solicit & participate in ongoing communication with Corporate Directors and Managers, other GMs, Departmental Managers and staff, as required.
Ensure all Managers and staff are directly focused on exceeding customer service expectations and creating Raving Fans.
Ensure all Sales Directors, Sales coordinators, Managers, team members are focused on hitting sales targets.
Provide customer relations/public relations.
Ensure development, implementation, delivery and achievement of Annual Operating Plan.
Manage payroll.
Review and approve all purchase orders, invoices and payroll submissions prior to submission to home office for processing.
Provide facility financial & business data and forecasts as required (i.e. Weekly, bi-weekly and a 3-month rolling format).
Monitor sales results and provide leadership/feedback as required.
Assist with sales calls and presentations.
Review and submit annual revenue goals, operational budgets, then review these goals monthly and make necessary adjustments to maximize revenue opportunities.
Ensure development and implementation of facility marketing strategy and action plan.
On an ongoing basis, identify the current market social, demographic and corporate trends that may impact the facility’s ability to meet its objectives.
Ensure all corporate and local marketing initiatives are implemented.

Work Experience:
5+ years’ experience leading highly successful operations teams
Strong program management, marketing, and leadership management
Strong coaching and mentoring skills
Demonstrated ability to develop team members and effectively manage team member performance
Strong P&L experience and effective problem solving skills
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
