Job Description : Your Miles City Walmart is looking for a Great Leader! Are you looking for a job that offers more responsibility, more pay, and more opportunity? As an hourly supervisor, you are responsible for several departments’ processes.Team Associates in your area will look to you for leadership, direction, training, and support. You are accountable for merchandise availability, department standards, and financial performance of your area.Ensure customer satisfaction by greeting and answering their questions.Tour the store to ensure it meets our customers’ expectations.Prioritize tasks, execute processes and deliver results.Ability to communicate, take direction at all levels, and turn it into action.o Leads team associates effectively; prioritizing and delegating daily workloads; monitoring and communicating team staffing needs; ensuring area processes are executed effectively; setting clear expectations; communicating goals; maintaining open dialogue with team associates; providing consistent follow up to verify workload completion; ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures; and participating in the coaching, training, and evaluation of associates.o Maintains area merchandise presentation and inventory accuracy by leading and guiding teams in receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise; removing damaged or out-of-date goods; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays; zoning the sales area; signing and pricing merchandise appropriately; binning and picking merchandise; completing bin audits; working inventory exceptions; correcting shelf capacities; securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise; following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials; and following opening and closing procedures in area of responsibility.o Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; analyzing and applying information from multiple sources; monitoring progress and results; and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.o Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices; implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and assisting management with correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems.o Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved; and modeling and helping others with how to adapt to change or new challenges.* For a complete list of duties and responsibilities, please see the actual job description.To apply for this role please proceed to Walmartcareers.com or text the word “jobs” to phone number 240240 and complete the Walmart applicationJob Type: Full-timePay: From $21.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftHolidaysWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:Masking is currently optional.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Retail Managers: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
