Position : Group IT Manager
Job Description : The purpose of this position is to work with our Director of Properties and senior leadership to help research, advise, and manage proper server installation and setup bringing our developments online and either handing over during tenant fit outs or managing access for each operating entity. In addition, you will troubleshoot IT issues such as server upgrades, firewall issues, and networking challenges for our Toronto portfolio. As the leader in Information Technology for our Toronto Portfolio you will handle your duties with confidentiality and security at the forefront of each decision made. A few of your duties may include:Reviewing plans to ensure proper server room and HVAC setup has been vetted.Project Manage the install of servers in our new builds from obtaining quotes to oversight of purchasing, install, and networking.Running regular checks on network and data security under the direction of our IT advisors in our Vancouver Office.Manage day to day IT and Software solutions.Maintain inventory of hardware, software, and permissions.Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.Work closely with our IT advisors in our Vancouver office to conduct regular system audits.Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget to various tenants.Other ad hoc tasks related to Information Technology as reasonably required.Qualifications5-7 years experience in comparable role.Experience in IT with multiple tenants in a property.Post-secondary Education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent in experience.Positive and supportive communicator to help maintain professional relationships.Proven problem solving ability.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $80,000.00-$97,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Bonus payBenefits:Casual dressCompany eventsDental careEmployee assistance programExtended health careFlexible scheduleRRSP matchStore discountTuition reimbursementVision careWellness programSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:Increased cleaning.
