Job Description : Help Desk Support Engineer
National IT consulting and support company that focuses on helping small/medium sized businesses is seeking a full time Help Desk Support Engineer to work from their home office, Monday – Friday.

This is a work from home, remote position. Salary is base plus commissions, full benefits package!
Essential Functions & Responsibilities

**ConnectWise Manage and Control experience a must**
**Help Desk experience a must**
There are commission billing hours available in addition to base pay for Help Desk work.
Provide direct service for IT networks as well as customer service to users inside and outside the company
Work one weekend, every 10 weeks, on call.
Work closely with the pooled team of engineers to answer questions and escalate to teams as needed.
Work within our ConnectWise ticketing system to create detailed work logs and technical documentation.
Escalate issues to Tier 2 as needed, as well as set customer expectations for follow-up (i.e. when to expect a follow-up contact and by whom).
Participate in the on-call rotation as agreed by the Tier One Support team. When on call, be prepared to address technical issues at all times.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

5 years’ experience in desktop support and administration (new software installation, machine setup, problem isolation and resolution).
Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, ability to implement quick workarounds to technical problems.
Experience in business software support (Microsoft products).
Experience in a variety of client environments.
Familiarity with remote monitoring tools and remote troubleshooting techniques.
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment, providing consistent follow-through and utilizing remote access and wireless connectivity technology.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Accustomed to working in a team environment.
Demonstrated dedication and commitment to providing continuous operations.
Works independently and demonstrates strong sense of ownership and initiative.
Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Experienced in providing professional and courteous customer service

**Only applicants with Help Desk and ConnectWise Control and Manage experience will be considered**
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 – $28.00 per hour
