We are a solid company moving from an MSP model and bringing our Infrastructure support in house! With that we are building a Help Desk team and looking for four people for two of our locations (Shelton CT and Boulder, CO.) All the positions are fully onsite every day, two of the roles are traditional work hours, the other two will be four days on and four days off with longer daytime shifts.
Your role will be Level 1 support providing technical and troubleshooting assistance to our onsite and remote employees for any computer related issues.
We are looking for someone who is entry-level (right out of school with a degree in Computer Science) or 1+ years of experience.
What You Will Be Doing
Provide in-person, phone or email support to end-users
Ensure all tickets are properly documented and logged, escalate when necessary
Identify problems/issues and work towards resolution or escalate to appropriate peer
Maintain hardware and software support, inventory, and software licensing compliance
Accurately document interactions, incidents, and problems
Provide White Glove customer service
What You Need for this Position
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant certifications like A+, Server+ or Network+
Excellent customer service ability
Strong Team Player, excellent verbal and communication skills, organizational skills, self-motivated, driven and flexible
Adaptable and flexible in stressful situations
Help Desk experience in a technical environment a plus
Proficient in supporting Windows PC operating systems and Office Suite applications
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issue
