Position : Home Care: Care Manager/Scheduler
Job Description : The ideal person for this position enjoys working with the public. They have customer service experience and/or experience as Personal Care Assistant.The Care Manager is primarily responsible for establishing, overseeing and updating the weekly caregivers’ schedule. They are responsible for handling sick calls from caregivers and filling shifts and modifying the schedule.The Care Manager works in conjunction with the other administrative staff and keeps them apprised of the current schedule and any updates.The Care Manager is responsible for interviewing prospective caregivers and conducting orientation of newly hired caregivers.The Care Manager answers incoming calls and responds to them or directs them to the other office staff accordingly.The Care Manager accepts calls from potential clients, answers their questions and records appropriate personal information to be disseminated to appropriate administrative staffThe Care Manager works in conjunction with the other administrative staff and keeps them apprised of the current schedule and any updates.The Care Manager rotates through evening call and weekend call.The Care Manager works 32 hours per week, 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. which allows for one week day off per week as well as weekends off as decided upon by the administrative staff.The Care Manager rotates through evening call and weekend call.The Care Manager works 32 hours per week, 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. which allows for one week day off per week as well as weekends off as decided upon by the administrative staff.Experience with Word, Excel and other applications is desirable.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hourBenefits:Paid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysOn callCOVID-19 considerations:Our caregivers wear masks when working directly with our clients.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Schedule management: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Required)Work Location: One location
