$30/hour plus free room and board

Full-time: 40 hours per week
Basic daily schedule: 10am-6pm M-F, which includes meal breaks
14 days paid time off, annually

Job Description:
Pleasant, quiet senior retired couple seeking personable and enthusiastic full-time House Manager, Companion and Housekeeper, to provide household management, companionship and housekeeping support at their comfortable large home in Chandler, AZ. This position is also ideal for someone looking for a live-in position, as it includes free room and board in a private, comfortable, newly furnished two-room suite with private bath, as well as a competitive wage.
The family is seeking an employee who can support the family during their retirement years. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-initiating, flexible, enjoy planning, and family-friendly, while respecting the residents’ privacy, a self-starter who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a family. In turn, we will also respect the employee’s privacy during non-working hours.
Previous experience or training to positively support memory or a cognitively impaired individual required. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a calm, respectful, family-like work environment.
Responsibilities:
Laundry and changing linens
Meal planning, grocery shopping and errands
Cooking light, simple healthy meals
Taking cars in for maintenance (car wash, oil change, gas)
Cleaning up clutter, light cleaning, tidying up house (professional cleaners come 2 times/month.
Washing dishes and keeping kitchen and pantry clean and organized
Coordinating with handyman, pool service, gardeners, vendors as needed
Keeping house, property and garage organized
Helping with small, well-behaved dog, taking to vet, groomer, etc.
Placing online orders, managing Amazon autoships, etc.
Occasional planning, preparing for travel/small social gatherings
Will also provide companionship and memory support for one female family member who is memory impaired, but easygoing, friendly and active.
