Position : Horse Wrangler and Tour Guide

Job Description : Horse Wrangler: Inside Rocky Mountain National Park!
Hiring for Summer of 2022 late May through September.
Looking for experienced equine professionals with the ability to coach novice riders. (must be CPR and first-aid certified before arrival)
2000/month salary.
Food and housing inside Rocky Mountain National Park is provided.
Tips in 2021 averaged from $70/day to $120/day depending on the wrangler.
Wranglers live on location near the horses.
This is the only stable in the Estes Park area located inside Rocky Mountain National Park. The stable is located beneath the Continental Divide, within walking distance of Sprague Lake.

Wrangler requirements:

Must be able to ride 6+ hours/day.
Must be able to lift saddles (30lbs) repeatedly.
Ability to communicate with customers to insure an enjoyable and safe ride.
Always demonstrate safe procedures when dealing with horses.
Work as a team with all wranglers to accomplish tasks.
Willingness to care for horses (grooming, feeding, cleaning pins)
Keep personal and shared living areas clean.

Job Description

All wranglers work 6 days/week.
Saddling, grooming and feeding horses.
Guiding trail rides / educating guests about the National Park.
Ensure customers are safe and enjoy their experience.’
