Job Description : Job descriptionNew Directions Aromatics Inc. is a leading wholesale supplier with over 800 products and has become a preferred supplier of many leading brand-name manufacturers, as well as start-up companies. We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to fulfill a HR Administrator role to take leadership of vital office functions including the coordination of special projects as requested from management, assistance with recruiting and on-boarding, regulatory compliance, training, liaising with production and shipping departments, and correspondence with various vendors.Job Duties: Screening applicant resumes to identify suitable candidates for interviews and current job vacancies.Conducting telephone pre-screens where required.Organizing and scheduling interviews with shortlisted candidates and hiring managers.Posting job advertisements to job boards and school career boards.Ensuring background checks are completed for hires; complete reference checks as required.Perform HR Orientation for new hires and help to ensure departmental onboarding is carried out effectively in a way that aligns with legal regulations and achievement of company objectives.Assist payroll department with payroll backups, timesheets, filings, auditing etc.Assist with training management; including tracking, reporting, organizing and filing.Maintain accurate and up to date human resources information and related records systems.Assists with ensuring employee file and sign-off requirements are accurate and up to date.Ensure compliance of company policies and procedures.Handles administrative requests, special projects and queries from senior managers.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sociology, Human Resources, Communication or other related fields or a College Diploma with 2 years of relevant experience in HRGoal-oriented, detailed-oriented, self-motivated, and self-directedStrong research skillsStrong communication skills (written and verbal) and comfortable speaking to employees and candidates by telephone.Strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate and prioritize numerous overlapping projects.Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Applications including Word, Excel, OutlookWork Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environmentTight deadlines, especially during busy seasonRepetitive tasksAttention to detailMay require movement between office and warehouse with appropriate safety equipment on a daily basisOther requirements: BondableCriminal record checkConfidential security clearancewww.newdirectionsaromatics.com1-800-246-7817We appreciate all applications, however only those chosen for interview will be contactedJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $23.00 per hourJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $23.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:human resources: 1 year (preferred)
