Position : HR Assistant

Job Description : Designs for Health is an industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of nutritional supplements offered primarily through health care practitioners. This rapidly growing company has two manufacturing plants and four distribution centers in the United States and distributes products in five continents.
Position Overview
The HR Assistant reports directly to the Sr. HR Manager and assists with the completion of key daily clerical and administrative HR tasks and prepares reports as needed.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs employee onboarding tasks for new hires.
Scans and uploads personnel documents into ADP.
Files hard copy personnel documents into Personnel or Medical files.
Archives terminated employee files.
As needed, addresses any needed attendance call off.
Manages the Attendance records.
Processes Career Ladder moves.
Performs periodic audits of Training completion and updates training records as needed.
Implements communications of policy or benefits updates.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
At least 3+ years of experience as an administrative assistant or HR assistant or related experience
Associates Degree in Business or related field is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
Competencies
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision once duties are assigned.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
