Job Summary:

Provide support to the HR Manager/Department.

Essential Functions:

Order fruit weekly on Monday mornings.

Distribute birthday cards and anniversary gifts.

Review resumes of prospective employees to ensure proper criteria is met.

Conduct phone interviews and observe hands-on interviews.

Assis in updating and maintaining workplace policy/safety documents as needed.

Assist HR Manager with open enrollment and other benefits related projects.

Assist HR Manager with Orientation/On-Boarding.

Initiate contact and assist HR Manger with vendors/contractors for company related events.

Effectively communicate with other departments and individuals as needed.

Create and maintain slideshows, graphics, and monthly calendars for breakrooms.

Participate in both the Wellness and Safety Committees.

File management and maintenance.

Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma Required

Associate degree Preferred

Work Experience:

3 years or more Administrative or Executive Assistant Experience Required

1 years or more Previous HR experience Preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Superior organization skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong listening skills.

Must possess strong multi-tasking skills.

Must possess a self-start attitude with the ability to work with little supervision and direction.

Working knowledge of HR related topics and policies.

Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

Compensation: $20 – $24/hr. DOE

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm
