Job Description : Position Overview
The Human Resources Associate is a key member of the people team responsible for talent acquisition and general day-to-day administrative functions. This position organizes and deploys key elements of sourcing top talent, creating talent pipelines, selection processes including screening, evaluating, hiring talented workforce and providing a sound, diverse and consistent candidate experience for all.

The Human Resources Associate also organizes, prioritizes, coordinates, and responds to a variety of regularly occurring work assignments, special projects, research, information requests, and creation of documents.

Core Responsibilities:

Assist in the day-to-day Human Resources operations of the organization and take initiative for continuous process improvements.
Utilize expert talent acquisition strategies to create talent pipelines and source diverse candidates using various networking principles.
Responsible for overall recruiting activities including communicating with candidates, scheduling and preparing documentation for interviews, facilitating pre-employment processes, assisting hiring managers, background checks to successful onboarding of new hires.
Create the best possible candidate experience for all applicants.
Research around recruitment projects – looking into Diversity & Inclusivity initiatives, innovative recruitment processes and future outreach programs to ensure evolution of the Talent function.
Add value in enhancing diversity, inclusion and equality initiatives, measured by an organic and natural increase in minority demographics across the hiring process.
Cross-train and back up other team members in assorted duties in support of HR, including, but not limited to: SharePoint maintenance and design, records retention and upkeep, and personnel change actions.
Manage, track and monitor a variety of HR tasks and requests using PeopleSoft, Word, Excel, SharePoint and other systems and also generate reports.
Assist with the maintenance of human resources files and records. Maintain security of all personnel files, medical files and I-9 forms, ensuring compliance with federal, multi-state and local laws and guidelines.
Support the HR manager in reviewing and finalizing policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality related to human resources issues, including employment decisions, selection processes, testing, criminal history records, disciplinary, and other complex issues.
Support (as needed) in the full employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:
Graduate degree and 2 plus years of experience or undergraduate degree and 5 plus years of experience; or the equivalent professional experience will be considered.

Additional:

Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition is highly preferred.
System savvy with demonstrated skill in the use of ADP, applicant tracking system or other HRIS system.
Knowledge of human resources employment practices and guidelines.
Excellent computer skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and Zoom.
Experience reviewing and compiling data, developing reports, and creating charts and diagrams.
Ability to create, proofread, edit, and format documents according to standard business writing practices.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service and provide clear communication both orally and in writing.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and complete projects within specified deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling sensitive information.

Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Communicate verbally and in written form with great facility and must be able to be understood.
