We currently have an opening for an experienced Human Resources Manager.

The Human Resource Manager will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Plan and coordinate the workforce to best use employees’ talents.
Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applications.
Oversee recruitment and hiring process to include preparing new employees by conducting orientation and assessing training needs.
Maintain employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements such as conducting investigations and maintaining records.
Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
Nurture a positive working environment and bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
Oversees and manages a performance appraisal system.
Analyzes trends in compensation, researches and proposes competitive base pay programs to ensure the company attracts/retains top talent.
Provides support and guidance to HR Coordinator, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arrive.

Required Education and Experience

5+ years of proven working experience as HR professional
Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Human Resources or Business Management, or equivalent experience related to the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Preferred Education and Experience

Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Payroll experience preferred
Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.

Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Strong organizational skills that ability to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy and expert-level written and verbal communication skills.
Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be independently effective.

Salary: $70,000 (Exempt)
