Job Description : POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resource Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and execution of the human resource function.
Essential Job Functions
Ensures compliance and proper documentation regarding all applicable laws and regulations; provides information to employees regarding their leaves in accordance with state and federal laws regarding
PTO, FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability, and Leaves of Absence
Oversees all human resource functions to include:
Strategic management, workforce planning, employee development & training, compensation & benefits, employee relations, Safety and legal Compliance

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position manages all employees of the HR department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.
Oversees Recruiting and staffing for all company positions
Consult with Managers on strategic staffing plans
Create and maintain job descriptions for all job titles
Performance management and career paths for all positions
Research market wages for positions; create and maintain current salary grades
Conduct training to implement new policies
Conduct training for employees and supervisors on current policies and compliance as needed
Organization development and review- make recommendations; create and maintain org charts
Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns regarding employees; EEO, ADA, FLSA
Employee on-boarding, development, needs assessment, and training
Policy development, documentation, and implementation
Employee relations & investigations with a pro-active approach
Employee conversations at 30 days on the job, stay interviews and exit interviews
Oversee benefits administration
Oversee company Safety Program to ensure we are compliant in practice and training, act as the Corporate Safety Coordinator
Oversee all employee leaves to include: FMLA, Disability, PTO, and Worker’s Compensation
Oversee the Company Drug & Substance abuse policy for training and testing
Oversee payroll to ensure all employees are paid properly
Oversee company travel
Corporate Administrative Building Facility Administration
Organize employee surveys as needed, compile and review results
Present HR content at meetings as necessary
Develop relationships with all Senior Leadership and have a pulse on the company culture
Design, implement and oversee employee recognition programs
OTHER DUTIES:
Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organization’s policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.
Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization’s compliance
Maintains responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters
Communicates changes in the organization’s personnel polices and procedures and ensures that proper compliance is followed
Assists executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of the organization’s wage and salary program.
Coordinates or conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the CFO/COO.
Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development for the organization.
Develops and maintains a human resource information system that meets the organization’s personnel information needs.
Supervises the staff of the human resource department.
Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.

Requirements
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of management experience
Human Resource Certification, preferred
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, self-motivations and communication skills required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer and application systems skills required.
Demonstrates proficiency on all standard office equipment
Compensation:$105,000 – $125,000 (DOE) plus full benefits
