The role is critical in executing corporate initiatives, providing a high level of internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education

B.A. or B.S. in Human Resources Management, business or related area

Experience

5+ years’ experience as a generalist with progressive responsibilities in Human Resources management positions with supervisory responsibilities; or any combination of education and 5+ years’ experience that provides a demonstrated, thorough understanding of business needs and Human Resources

License or Certification

Human Resources Management Certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP is strongly preferred

Effective oral and written communication
Detail oriented, highly organized, ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Ability to assess emotional intelligence and guide conflict resolution
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Intermediate math skills
Ability to read, write and comprehend English
Effective communication, persuasion and influencing skills and ability to negotiate and diffuse conflict
Bi-lingual English/Spanish, including ability to read, interpret and translate documents and make verbal presentations

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Provide HR support and consultation to the business, answering employee and manager questions about HR programs, and other HR related items (performance, compensation, succession planning, etc.)
Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company
Serve as a trusted advisor for the business, using external and internal insights, data and trends to identify and help solve key people and business issues
Partner with business leaders on workforce planning and organizational design efforts
Advise, coach, and mediate on HR related matters with employees and managers
Advise on performance management issues (such as PIPs)
Conduct prompt, thorough, and fair investigations into major employee grievances. Provide final analysis and recommendations
Support management investigations into minor employee complaints
Process and administer all leave of absence requests and disability paperwork
Assist employees and Branch Administrators with benefit administration questions
Interpret, administer, and ensure compliance with all federal and state laws, company policies, and procedures. Remain current and adhere to practices that will ensure an engaged workforce and compliant practices
Work with and guide company managers on their responsibilities associated with human resources by providing metrics, counsel, information analysis, and decisions to mitigate risk management
Communicate changes in personnel policies and procedures and ensure proper compliance is followed
Coordinate or conducts exit interviews
Participate in project team assignments for HR that support the development and/or implementation of organization-wide projects and objectives
Attend various business leadership meetings to ensure goal alignment at the Branch level
Consult with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by Divisional or Corporate leadership, on human resource matters

Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
