Job Description : Lakewood Electric Company, Inc. is a Colorado based commercial electrical company that started in 1976 by a small group of dedicated electricians. For over forty years, Lakewood Electric has committed itself to providing quality electrical services to a variety of clients throughout the Metro Colorado area. Our projects consist mainly of commercial, multi-family residential, and education. We are looking for a strong candidate to join our team.
Daily Job Description:
· Verify timesheets for weekly payroll
· Process full in-house payroll
· File 941, 940, State Withholding and Unemployment Wage Reporting
· Maintain Confidentiality of all Employee Records
· Recruiting for any open positions that are available
· Keep accurate employee records in personnel files and payroll system
· Responsible for complying with current payroll/ HR laws and regulations
· Assist employees with questions relating to payroll, benefits, vacation time, etc.
· Setup of new employees and terminations
· Administration and setup of payroll garnishments, liens and support orders
· Maintain Employee’s Medical, Dental, Vision & Voluntary benefits + 401k Accounts
· Responsible for responding to employment verifications
· Produce reports and compile data as requested
· Responsible for setting up employees in education classes and monitoring grades and payments
· Willing to take on other administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements:
· 2-3 years of Human Resources experience, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Payroll Experience preferred, not required
· QuickBooks Experience preferred
· Proficient in Excel and Word
· Attention to Detail and Accuracy is a MUST
· Construction Experience preferred, not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
