Job Description : Job SummaryThe IELTS Examiner will expertly assess candidates, with the consistency and standards as set out by IELTS, in the speaking module of the IELTS test. The Examiner will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the test and ensure a fair testing procedure is followed for all candidates in the speaking module.Responsibilities and DutiesExamine candidates regularly (Saturdays afternoon and possible Sunday afternoon), for the speaking module of the IELTS test at designated test sessions throught the Greater Vancouver Area. (locations needed, Langley, Vancouver, Coquitlam and Whistler)Maintain confidentiality and security in all aspects of IELTSComply fully with the Examiner Code of Practice and IELTS Confidentiality UndertakingUndertake scheduled standardization training and re-certificationQualifications and SkillsAn undergraduate degree in a related field or areaA recognized qualification in TESOL/TESL/TEFOLAt least three-year’s full time (or the equivalent of part time) relevant TESOL teaching experience with the majority relating to adult students (16 years and over)Punctual, dependable and responsibleJob Type: Part-timeSalary: $45.00 /hourJob Types: Part-time, CasualSalary: $40.00-$45.00 per hourSchedule:Day shiftWeekend availabilityWeekends onlyAbility to commute/relocate:GTA, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)Application question(s):Do you have TESOL (or equivalent) Certificate?Education:Bachelor’s Degree (required)Experience:Adult (16+) Teaching: 3 years (preferred)
