Imaging Services Clerk, Casual
Position Summary:
Maintains continuity of patient flow within the Imaging Services departments. Greets and communicates with patients, visitors and hospital personnel by telephone, intercom or in person, in a polite and professional manner. Performs other clerical duties as required. Assists technologists as needed.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Works with Central Scheduling to provide appropriate coordination for patient appointments
2. Assists with coordinating imaging procedures with other departments as necessary
3. Conveys department schedules to the appropriate personnel
Qualifications:
Required:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 6 months previous clerical or customer service experience
Preferred:6 months to 1 year of data entry and medical clerical experience
