Position : Inside Sales and Customer Support
Job Description : Interact with customers to manage inquiries, concerns, and technical requests about products and services in a timely manner. Able to recommend alternative or additional products and services as required to ensure that the customer gets the best possible solution with the goal of complete customer satisfaction every time. Both verbal and written proficiency are critical.Requires a University or College diploma in trade-related discipline or sales and marketing, engineering, or equivalent years of experience in the field or a related area. Knows commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the plumbing system. Consistently follows instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and can work under minimal supervision.The ideal candidate is looking to build a long-term career with an established, industry-leading organization, and will demonstrate a high level of professionalism in building relationships with both customers and colleagues in the pursuit of meeting sales goals.Duties & Responsibilities: Field customer enquiries by:Clarifying the customer’s question or concernDetermining the customer’s application requirement or the cause of a problemSelecting and explaining the best product for the customer’s application, or presenting next steps towards resolving the problem;Expediting correction or adjustmentFollowing up with the customer to ensure resolutionPromptly recording details of actions takenResolve customer complaints via phone, email, mail or social mediaBuild sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communicationKey Functions: Customer enquiries and Customer Service requestsHandling customer technical support cases via phone and emailReview requests for product returns and escalate for approval based on internal control limit requirementAnswer or escalate customer product or application enquires as requiredRespond to customer warranty requests and forward same to Warranty and Claims ManagerCommunicate customer requirements and priorities with the Order Desk to ensure on-time delivery of customer ordersAssisting sales agents with technical and sales-based inquiriesMaintaining sales leads and funnel for DirectorsUpdating e-commerce sales avenues for customersSetting up online trade showsHandle changes in policies, pricing, or renewalsKeep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documentsMeet personal/team sales targetsMake recommendations for process improvementSet up new customer accountsMaintain customer databasesPreferred Candidate Background: University or college graduate in Sales and Marketing or trade-related disciplineEngineering degree will also be consideredExperience in technically oriented sales or customer service rolesHistory of meeting goals with little or no supervisionInside Sales or Customer Service experience preferredWork remotelyNoJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per yearBenefits:Casual dressDental careEmployee assistance programExtended health careOn-site parkingRRSP matchSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:sales: 1 year (preferred)
