Position : Inside Sales Coordinator

Job Description : We have opened our Event Center in Prescott, Arizona and just won the Hilton Award of Excellence for 2021. We are expanding into catering sales and seeking a professional, results-driven Catering Sales Coordinator to join our team.
You will be responsible for assisting the Director of Sales in answering telephone and email inquiries. You’ll use Hilton’s Delphi.fdc sales system for customer interactions. You’ll talk with customers and help prepare accurate Banquet Event Orders. You’ll work closely with meeting planners to determine their needs, answer their questions, and recommend preferred solutions. You’ll communicate (in writing and verbally) with our operational teams to ensure we successfully execute events.
The pay offered will be depending on experience. There is opportunity for growth as we continue to expand our offerings.
Responsibilities

Be responsive and answer phone calls and emails within 24 business hours.
Assess customers’ needs and determine if the Event Center is a good fit for what they want to do.
Welcome customers to the hotel, provide a professional site tour, and answer their questions
Understand hotel operations and be able to offer customers options that will set the event up for success
Become an expert in the sales system, Delphi.fdc, and document all selling activities.
Ensure billing documentation is complete and provided to the front desk in a timely manner.
Make suggestions.

Skills

Proven work experience as a hotel Sales administrator, Sales coordinator, or similar role is helpful
Basic understanding of events and meetings
Proficiency in English
Basic Math skills
Hands-on experience with Delphi.fdc or Salesforce would be a plus
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly and energetic personality
Ability to perform under pressure
High school degree; BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
