Scope of Work/Objective
We are looking for a highly skilled, self-motivated Inside Sales Executive to join our expanding
Textbook division where we are aiming to become a market leader by 2025.
Being a member of this team, you will be at the forefront for focusing on the e-textbook
promotion & its growth from higher education institutions, government bodies & adoption based
sales.
The sales executive will have to develop, maintain and interact primarily utilizing the phone and
other forms of electronic communication to a broad scope of new and existing customers to
generate & close leads for e-textbook sales division.
Product
SAGE e-textbooks are high quality textbooks which support teaching & learning enabling the
students & instructors to access content virtually.
SAGE e-textbook contains range of titles in Social Science & Business Management discipline,
which can be accessed on multiple devices including mobiles & tablets.
Target Market
Pan India higher education institutions & government bodies
Key Functions & Responsibility
Maintaining a high level of activity by cold calling to an existing/new/ prospects with a
view of pitching SAGE e-textbook solutions on Pan India Level.
Responsible for lead generation & building healthy opportunity pipeline by prospecting
the data to ensure e-textbook Sales division should achieve and exceed sales quotas
assigned against key performance metrics with strong emphasis on business
development
Product demonstration through online platforms to premium institutions & closing leads
Explore and develop the secondary market as Test Prep for suitable titles
Identify and share details of key and renowned faculty for authorship of SAGE Text
Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Job description of Inside Sales Executive, E – Textbook
Desired Candidate Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
Minimum of Two to three years of experience in the Inside Sales (preferably outbound
calls)
Knowledge of sales for digital products is desired. Publishing Industry preferred
Knowledge of Inside sales process from initiation to close
CRM working experience preferred
Interpersonal Skills
Excellent verbal, written & presentation skills; the ability to call, connect and interact
with potential customers
Persuasive and goal-oriented
Self-motivated and self-directed
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
A go-getter with the ability to work under pressure
Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching
next potential client
Excellent email articulation, Excel & Power-Point skills
