Summary
The Marketing Intern will report to the Marketing Director and will support both Metro & Food Basics on a variety of projects in the areas of both brand, digital marketing and Shopper Marketing.
Specific Responsibilities:
Support our digital efforts and identify outreach opportunities on our social media platforms for current and future shoppers. Support the content planning, sourcing, and analytics for post performance analysis.
Support the coordination and execution of our local marketing initiatives during the summer months, working with our agency partners to develop relevant brand experiences.
Support the production and deployment of advertising for print, digital, and social media channels
Monitor, track, and report on execution and results of various marketing campaigns or programs, including a full post-analysis.
Administrative responsibilities as required
Special projects as required
Qualifications:
Enrolled in a college or university program with a focus on marketing, communications, and/or event planning
Passion for results and sense of urgency to accomplish goals
Strong written and verbal communication skills and an eye for detail
Exceptional project management and creative problem-solving skills
Must thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work some evenings/weekends as required (for events)
Prior internship experience considered an asset
